Docket has chosen to partner with Stripe to allow its users to take credit card payments from their customers.
Start by creating an invoice for your client.
Use Docket to create, save & send invoices to your clients. Select “Invoices” from your Dashboard menu to create your first invoice; add line items, set taxes and enter payment terms. Once you’ve previewed your newly created invoice, tap “Save”. Saving an invoice will allow you to process payment for it.
Take credit card payments & send payment links to your customers.
Once you’ve saved your invoice (and have enabled payments), return to “My Invoices”. Tap on the invoice that you’d like your client to pay, and then tap the “Pay” button. From this screen, you can treat your Docket app like a Point of Sale terminal and enter your customer’s card details, or copy a payment link and send it to your client for payment.

How do I enable payments in the Docket app?
Tap on “Invoices” in your Dashboard menu. Once you’re on the invoices screen, you’ll see a green button in the top right corner that says “Set Up Payments”. Simply tap that button to get started!
How can I issue a refund to my client?
In the event that you need to issue a refund to your client, simply login to your Stripe Dashboard. When you enable Docket Payments, Stripe will e-mail you information about how to login to your account (if it’s newly created).
Do I need an existing Stripe account in order to use/enable Docket Payments?
Nope! Tapping on the “Set Up Payments” button on the Invoices screen will prompt you to create a brand new Stripe account that is associated with your Docket username/email address.
Is completing my transactions with Docket safe?
100%! Docket does not receive or store any of your personal or company banking information. All transactions are secured and managed by Stripe.
What kind of fees does Docket charge on my transactions?
Docket charges a flat $0.25 on ALL transactions (regardless of how big or small). Standard Stripe fees are applied to all transactions:
Stripe fee: 3.1% + flat $0.30.
